I did the OS 285 package install per the instructions on my 8330. All went well. All seems to work fine BUT....

I selected "options", then "about" to see if it all took and nothing happens. All the other items in options open and seem to work fine. About does nothing.

I have re booted, done a battery pull, and tried to search but about is a very common term!

One of the side effects of doing the memory optimization/cleanup is that Options / About doesn't work.

Press ALT SHIFT H to get a screen with similar information.

If you removed voice activated dialing .cod files, it does this on the 4.5 OS.

Only if you add back the voice activated dialing .cod files to your BB. It's fixed in newer OS versions, and will probably be fixed in the 5.0 OS released for the 8330. Whenever that comes out......
