Default 8320 sleeve...

Please Login to Remove!

So.. I think I'm like the only person on these forums that actually likes the sleeve/pouch that came with the curve from TMO

But I wanted to use a BSE on the screen and I had heard that the OEM sleeve actually dyes the BSE black so... I'm using a hard case right now. I really miss my sleep option, and the sleeve.

So, I was wondering if anyone has seen or used a sleeve just like the TMO one but one that doesn't color your screen protector black?

If you can't find a suitable case right away, you could always put your Curve on standby (which is basically the same as sleep mode, isn't it?) in the meantime by pressing and holding the mute button. Pressing it again "wakes it up" immediately.

"Standby" from the mute button is actually a little easier to do since you don't have to enter a password to wake it up unless it's been asleep for the specified time.

There are lots of other "sleeve-ish" type cases out there. The others have belt clips and are almost as sleek as the T-Mo sleeve. What features do you like most about the sleeve?

I like how slim it is. How simple it is. That it covers everything, I don't mind pulling it in and out... I have a holester, but I'm kind of over wearing a holster after wearing all my other phones in them...

The sleeve is just really comfortable, thin and has the magnet :D

I just wish it wouldn't rub off on the BSE.

Hi devlol,

Attached are other "sleeve" type cases you might like. I don't have them, so I don't know if the color rubs off.

Here is a link to some other cases I've found online (see my posts in thread):

I like and use the sleeve too. It's perfect for me as I keep my curve in my front pocket and the sleeve prevents dust from sneaking in the infamous gap.

I was also bummed about hearing the sleeve stains the BSE skin, but... I am over it now that I know I can just get an entire new lens for under ten bucks. So I am going forward without a BSE skin this time.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I like the sleeve also. Its great if you carry it in you pants pocket. I just wish I could find one exactly like it made out of leather, rather than vinyl
