Ok, just got my "BestSkinEver" and spent like 30 minutes trying to get it on. Was fine on the flat surfaces but wouldn't stay put on the back. Got real nervous with water around the phone. Finally gave up and chucked it. Wasted $5 bucks but I spend that on a Latte!

You shouldn't be worried as long as you removed the battery and didn't DRENCH the skin in water and let it not drip off any excess. Not sure if they give you something to press the water out, if not, use a credit card and have a some paper ready to dry it up after.

I just installed (is installed the right word??) my bestskinsever full body skin. Pretty easy application took about 15 min and thought I screwed it up a couple times, but then I re-wetted the cover piece I was working on and all was perfect again.

It looks great!!!! The only thing that I had to get use to is the 1MM height difference of the screen. I can feel it when scrolling up on the trackball.

Considering the benefits of the skin I'll get over it very fast.

It doesn't cover the sides, but I'm ok with that (for now at least until i scratch the sides )

I would recommend buying the full skin for the buck more, b/c if you don't like the full body you can just apply the screen protector.

I received mine from bestskinsever yesterday and applied it to my Pearl. I tried to take pictures to show you guys but honestly, in the pictures, you couldn't even tell the skin was on there so they wouldn't have done much good. All I can say is, I'm very happy with my purchase. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a shield for their Pearl. No problems with air bubbles, alignment, look, or anything else.

I just applied my BestSkinsEver and it was easy, looks great too. Now I have to leave the phone alone long enough for it to dry.

my bestskins just arrived. I guess I'm not as talented as the rest here, because I had a hard time getting them on. When I would try to squeeze the bubbles and water out, it would slide. Then, the parts that wrap over the top and bottom (like the little piece above the screen) drove me nuts.

They're on now, and I do like it! I got a little fuzz or something under one of them, but I can live with it. My luck, I dropped the phone yesterday, and it slid about 3 feet on the tile. The new scratches are less visible now with the skins on. lol

got my second purchase from BestSkinsEver.com and they applied easily. Just a tip for those of you that have this product available when you apply the skins... the instructions call for a weak soap solution... I use eyeglass cleaner. The kind that you get when you buy expensive sun glasses, or maybe the same if you have regular glasses (i don't). It comes in a very small pump spray bottle and it is a very weak soap solution. Just peel off the skin from the backing, give it one pump of mist from about 6 inches away, slide it into place (it won't slide real easy, because from 6 inches the fluid is applied lightly) and smooth out with eyeglass lens cloth. Works great and have applied BestSkins with this method on 3 items so far. I now don't have to keep wiping the fingerprints off... the best skins don't print (ok, except with the peanut butter from my comfort food lunch).

I've had the BestSkins on for about a week. I'm satisfied. I mean, for just under $10, it certainly does the trick.

Yes, the installation is very delicate. One thing I worried about was the flaps that fold over the bottom and the side but they actually do stick down as promised.

Thumns up.

I bought three sets of Best Skins. I ordered three sets so to get the free shipping. [I have two Pearls, so I bought another as a spare]. The total was $23 or something like that.

Followed the instructions carefully and I have to say it's a damn nice product.

Those of you who had problems, you didn't follow directions carefully. E.g. everything adheres, even the flaps or edges "sticking out." All you had to do is what the instructions said, wait for the piece sticking out to dry a bit, then hold or press down the area for 30 seconds. I did that and all the curves and bends, so to speak, adhered perfectly and firmly.

I even applied the skins in a steamy bathroom so to avoid dust getting under the skin. That is what they instructed us to do and it worked perfect, no dust.

A BIG benefit besides scratch protection is that it eliminates the fingerprint issue. The plastic coating absorbs the prints or makes them invisible, so I no longer have to break out the Windex every hour on the hour.

Also, the covering makes the 8100 way less slippery.

Highly recommend the item and hats off to other members who turned me on to the site selling the skin.

Best Skins Ever RIM BlackBerry 8100 Pearl Total Body Skin

Mine arrived via first class mail, in a regular business envelope. Thought it was a letter or bill at first.

I got mine for 10 dollars including shipping... I only have the screen protector though... is that why? Didn't know if there was a full ShieldZone kit for it... ShieldZone is amazing, by the way. The spray and squeegee that comes with it are great for installation, took no time at all.

If you read my review, it does cover the entire cell phone.

No it doesn't. The side protection is pure crap (which is why I returned mine for a refund). Unless they changed it, the side protection is a PITA as it has 8 pieces you need to install. BestSkinsEver has MORE protection when it comes to the back panel (camera area).

Let me see, 25 bucks for full front and back protection with crap side protection or 8 bucks at BestSkin. I think it's an obvious choice. Depends how much you care about getting side protection (which I do, but Invisible Shield is not worth the insane markup compared to BestSkins)

I bought my skins from beatSkinsever.com last Tuesday and I received it in 2 days! Talk about fast! I am also happy with the skins I bought from them. I took my time in the shower and it paid off! It came out perfect! I also let the skins cure for 24 hours before using the phone again.

BestSkinsever.com FTW!

The ShieldZone does come with solution but very tiny bottle. The BestSkinsEver does not.

I made a post offering tips on how to install ShieldZone but I can't seem to find it. When I have time, I will try to look for it.

The solution I recommend to use is denatured alcohol (if you can find it) (the best) or use rubbing alcohol.

Some people use soap and water but I did not recommend doing that because if you accidentally got some solution inside the phone, you have to wait very long time before you can use it. Alcohol dry out quite fast so if you accidentally got some in the phone, you only have to wait few minutes.
