Hi All

Had the above application a year and it worked perfectly. But after i upgraded to OS 5.0 on my bold 9000 its stopped working. The menu option is still there and I can set a future time and date for a message to be sent but instead of delaying the message to my chosen time/date the message gets sent immediately.

Anyone have an idea whats going on and a fix?

It does not work on 5.0 and developer has discontinued so will need to find another option

Future SMS is a BlackBerry application, which can send out SMS in appointed time in advance by user.

Features:

Send SMS to group (no limitation for number of group in fact.). Support select contact/group from Contacts of BlackBerry;
Support timed SMS and recurrence (Once, Minutely, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly);
The program start to run only when the appointed time is coming. No burden in idle time;
Support long SMS, i.e. you can input long content, such as 320, 640, …etc,. characters;
Applications:

Inquire bill from mobile vendor through SMS monthly;
Send Birthday/Anniversary greetings to your friends;
Type SMS in advance and send it in appointed time in future to avoid miss;
Send group SMS without limitation of BlackBerry;
