Default Disabling Automatic Extensio Dialing

Please Login to Remove!

I have a few names in my Address Book that have an extension after their phone number. The problem is that during the day, a receptionist often answers the telephone. Naturally, the receptionist is then blasted in the ear with the BB dialing the extension.

Is there a way, when calling a person in your Address Book who has an extension, temporarily to prevent the BB from dialing the extension, either just before the call is placed or just after somebody answers.

Thanks.

Chris

Default

Phone>Settings>Smart Dialing. Put both for extensions to "My Response" (the default setting, IIRC).
