It should simply work, I didn't have to do anything special. I can think of only a few possibilities:
  1. Your mail settings are screwed up and you can't receive attachments.
  2. Your BlackBerry doesn't know what to do with a JPG attachment.
  3. Operator error: you didn't scroll to the right place, or didn't notice the menu item to open attachment (unlikely I know).
I'm a BB newbie myself, so I must defer to the wizards here. Good luck!

Just to be clear...
net_rim_theme_blackberry = Small Icons Theme
net_rim_theme_o2_240x260 = O2 Theme
net_rim_theme_vodaphone_240x260 = VodaPhone Theme
net_rim_theme_tmobile_240x260 = T-Mobile Theme
<what) = Rim List Theme

(Couldn't find this exact info with search)

The O2 theme is no longer included in the zip archive that is linked in this thread. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Thanks! I used number 3 with the O2 theme...love the way it looks (still easy to read). No problem saving my first pic, either

Go into Themes. Click on Default (List). Same thing.

I found the Rogers theme, it's different than the default theme, larger too. It's not included in the zip file above. Does anyone have the T-Mobile UK theme? If you look at http://www.blackberry.com/blackberry7100/models.shtml you can see the UK theme is different, similar to the Rogers theme.

Where do you find the Rogers Theme? Is it better on the 7100T than the standard list theme? What is different about it? Better?

Thanks in advance.

If you want the other companies' themes, just download their software, install it on your machine, go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\Version Number\Java and grab the net_rim_theme_whatever_240x260.cod file from there and copy it somewhere else, then uninstall the software from your machine.

The T-Mobile UK, the Rogers, and the Cingular themes are all the same, in a sense. They are all based off the Default List theme, with a different background, or they are the Default List theme.

Personally I prefer the list layout to the icons. So I think the O2 theme is the nicest one out there. I hated that background though so I created my own.

I offset her to the left so the the listings don't cover her up. The blues look great with the O2 colors.

The O2 theme has gotten a little less attractive after the latest TMO OS upgrade; seems like the new shortcuts that pop up in the List theme's Settings menu are showing up in O2's Applications menu. I temporarily lost the O2 theme after upgrading the OS, and was stuck with the List theme *almost* long enough to adopt it on a permanent basis.

I've been trying the O2 theme, but I don't like the blue on blue. Is there any way to change it. IMO it makes it very difficult to read. BTW - The calculator works fine for me with the Small Icons theme (I'm running 3.8 and using T-Mobile).

I'm all for T-Mobile but the theme that they have for the 7100t just sucks! Switched mine to O2, can't go wrong with that one. Very pleasing to the eyes.
