I recently received a new AT&T blackberry curve 8310 from a family member that doesn't like it but it doesn't have a sims card. my question is if i buy one of the prepaid phones from like walmart can i take the sims card from it and put in the blackberry and it work. I've recently moved and still looking for a job so i can not afford to sign up for a 2 year contract with AT&T right now so i need a 2nd option for now.

If you were to do that I'm pretty sure the 8310 would need to be unlocked, which is easy to do by yourself. Just call up AT&T and have them send you an unlock code in a few days. Other than that obstacle I dont really see why you wouldnt be able to, providing that the prepaid sims from Walmart are removable
