Default Slow Sync

Please Login to Remove!

Hi
Does anyone know if it's possible to start a slow sync from the BES?
I know you can do it from the handheld but we're trying to find a method of doing it without user intervention.

Thanks
Mark.

Not that I am aware of. The onyl way slow sync is triggered is thorugh Enterprise Activation or by deleting and resending/undeleteing the Desktop[SYNC] service book.

These are not actions that can be done from the BES.

Also, I found somewhere else here a good tip to force a slow sync from the handheld.
We had a user who's sync stopped working. Deleting and resending service book didn't help. This fixed him and incremental sync started working again.

Go to the enterprise activation screen in options>>advanced options. In the email address field, hold down the ALT key while you type CNFG (it will display other characters, don't worry about that).
You will be taken to a settings screen. Change the field 'Wireless Sync' to 'NO'. Save. Wait a bit. Go back in using the ALT + CNFG again. Change back to 'YES' and save. This will force the slow sync to start in a minute or two.
