Don't post an answer like that unless you know what you're talking about please. Yes, in the past Verizon did block a lot of BT functionality, but not any more, at least not as much as they used to.
The Verizon Curve 8330 can be synched via BT, however it is unreliable because of the BB Desktop software. The problem for me and others has been that even though the phone is set to be 'trusted', every time it tries to connect I get the message 'do you want to connect'. I have to answer yes sometimes 3 or 4 times before it 'takes' and synchronizes.
I've seen some posts where people used different BT drivers and it fixed the problem, I have not been able to do that successfully yet, so I just pretty much gave up and use USB.
As far as other functions such as transferring files, it works great with my PC, which is Vista Home Premium SP1.
