Quick little app that allows you to search wikipedia without having to navigate the messy webpage from your blackberry browser: Wikipedia Application for BlackBerry
should work on any 4.0.0 device

I just installed and gave it a try. However, I found out it does not work on my "enter" key. I would have to click on the trackwheel for the "Search / Go" button.
btw, I installed it on my 8700g with 4.2.x OS loaded.

there are a few sites that leverage wikipedia content into a wap friendly form - but they're unofficial and not funded so i wouldnt put them in an app as they may not be around for long.
will make the enter-key changes though.
re: browser choice - it should launch whatever your default browser is - i'm not sure you can launch opera with a website (ie. i dont know if you can pass aruments to it to open at a specific page)

Awesome app. It's a pain navigating the main page of Wikipedia looking for the search box. Especially when you are trying to settle an argument quickly

The other day I used this to search for "c union." When I clicked Search, Wikipedia said there were no matches found for "_cunion." Clicking Go seemed to handle the text fine though.
