Default Storm not always photo geotagging

Please Login to Remove!

Using my Storm in the home page, I get an indication that the GPS is working but when I go to the camera I see the GPS icon is red and no GPS tag is put with the photo. This is somewhat random, sometimes I do get the GPS icon in the photo app. I think this is unrelated but once I did notice the GPS was on when I had GPS Tracker on.
Can someone help me out here?

When I leave the camera my is red also. I think it's to help save battery? By the window in my home it locks to GPS in less than 10 Sec. When I go back to camera it's always red. So again this seems normal?

I dont see it should be since if you have the gps on it can be read. Or? I too have a good few photos which did not include geo tagging so you're not alone.

I get the geotag to work if I go to the Maps app. here I see the GPS connecting. I then go back to the photo app and the GPS is on.

Similar here. Infuriating. A load of photos taken in the sun where I had not checked the geolocator icon were without it.

I believe you have to just be in Maps and hit the Camera Button to do it. Makes since though if you really think about it. Yeah it would be nice to just automatically do it, but than it has to find satellites
