Im sure this has talked about, just couldnt find what im looking for.

But my emails are not going to my "email folder" they are going to my "messages folder"

how can i change this ?

oh this is on a verizon BB 7130e if that helps/matters

The Messages icon is where all of your mail should go.....that's the way the Blackberry works.

If you have separate icons for your email accounts, mail for those accounts will also show there. So you'll see it in both places...no way around it, unless you hide the Messages icon and only look at the individual email account icons.

I got another Q here. I have added yahoo, Gmail and hotmail, but I'm wondering why only yahoo email icon appears with yahoo logo while Gmail and hotmail are not.

are the emails being received "unknown"?? there is no fix for this (I had the same issue earlier in the week)

Yahoo! has worked it out with RIM to use a special icon for Yahoo! accounts. All other email accounts will use the standard messages icon.
