Please Login to Remove!

I am looking at the loader files an I see the following .alx files:

VCastMusic
VerizonPTT
VZNavigator

I thought the 9700 was not availiable thru Verizon? What radio files is used in this release? Don't ATT and Verizon use different radios?

Very confusing.......Experts please advise........

if i had to guess, i would assume since all OS files work with all carriers, rim added general files for all of them so they have a standard base to start with, then add the individual device files.
i would like to know as well, but thats my best guess.

You may also find MyFav files, which are only used by T-Mobile....

My main concern is the radio file. Verizon and ATT use differnt frequencies. What radio file is used?

if you are using a 9700 OS then you have nothing to worry about since it wont touch anything from other carriers.
