I keep going around in circles trying to download Opera mini. Anyone managed the OTA link recently either from mini.opera.com or the sms they send? When I click on the "download" link I just end up back in another page telling me how to download it!

Had they made that a link you could copy the url easier and send to the phone.

I posted this recently in a different thread, but it may still apply:

I have the best success with the Opera Mini OTA if I have the native Browser's Emulation or Identification set to "Blackberry". When it's on IE, the OTA installer doesn't seem to auto-detect properly.

How hard can it be for them just to provide a simple OTA link? I am trying BOLT now - again better than the built in BB browser.

It is an OTA link and works well for 99.% of those who try to use it. Yours is the first case I read of where it doesn't work with your browser emulation set to BlackBerry. Something strange is going on with your device.

I dont think it's my my device ( I cant find the link on a normal browser either) It just goes around in circles. A quick google shows me a few others are having the same problem. At least one other in this thread too. I also had them text me the tlink which then took me to the same page. Which reference mini.opera.com again.

Did you download it in the past days?

And I had downloaded it before ( a couple of months ago).

I just tried it. Don't know if it will help you but here is the link I ended up at:

It's the unsigned English version.
