Is there any program which will turn my BBB 3G signal to a wifi base station where computers can connect to the internet thru it (as there for the iPhone & Nokia) ?

You can use USB or Bluetooth tethering to make your BB an internet modem.

If I am not mistaken, Nokia and iPhone don't turn into a wifi base station.
What you are describing sounds more like Bluetooth Tethering.

Your computer is connected to the BB via Bluetooth, and using the BB as a modem and using the 3G data. However please note, some companies charges a lot when using this option.

iPhone nad Nokia Cellphones don't support Adhoc connection.

Actually they do.

PdaNet -- Use your iPhone as a Wireless Router for your PC/Mac

Joiku - JoikuSpot Light

I have used both products (on an iPhone 3G and an E90 respectively), and they work quite well.

I tried looking for a solution to this and I never found anything. Sad but true.

Why does the POS iPhone get such better apps than BB? If anything allows iPhone to overtake BB it will be that, app development.

i know, iPhone is a POS smart phone but a good entertainment device, but developers are behind iPhone as RIM isn't doing much to help.
