Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

if somebody is travelling a lot and interrested in tracking online via WorldMate Live, I have still 7 invitations left.

The SW is still Beta but free for the invities.

Here you can get more informations: WorldMate Live

Just drop me a mail or PN with your mailadress if you want a invitation.

And NO I'm not working for this company or in anyone connection to them.
I'm using their SW MobileMate Premium and therefore I got the invitation to test the new live system.

I Think I figured it out, use this invitation code 8213986 I think this one doesn't have the 10 invites limitation. Can you all try it out and let me know if it works.

I mailed them to get more invitations. Keep you updated.

I also got a mail from the support of them because I allways got the error "uncaught exception 24>=0".

The sent me this OTA link to download a new version. Now it works!

Thanks for the info, MBj. Its a cool app so far. I travel every week - air, hotel, and car. Its nice to have one screen that shows my itineraries with the icons to tell me what I have booked so far. Very handy.

I am finding that emailing a reservation to the address they gave me does not automatically import into my itineraries. I emailed support, and they are looking into it. Other than that, I'm liking it so far.

They gave me add. 40 invitations, so if you want, just drop me a note with your email adress.

Please keep in mind that I'm based in Germany, so I'm sleeping when you are online

I just tried it and I love it. It has good UI. I tried the other application before but I never would get it work.

HOWEVER, I tried to add an international flight from Asia back to US. Since it has timezone different, I would be arriving to US on the same day as I department from an Asia country. --> The system DOES NOT allow me to enter my arrival time which is before the department time. :(

The implementation of Worldmate to the BB is pretty slick. I really liked this program on Windows Mobile and thought that this program would just be a port of the original program. It is not. They have really thought this out and made it very functional.

If anyone wants an invite to the beta, just PM with your e-mail address. You have to give me your e-mail address as I have to send the invite via Worldmate's website and then they e-mail you the actual beta invitation.

Default Outlook add-in

I just tried the Outlook add-in they offer and it worked really well. All I needed to do was to press on the Export button on a confirmation email and all the information was immediately transferred to the web and the BB. I think they really did a good job this time

I gotta tell you, this thing is awesome. Last week I entered my intinerary for a trip I was taking this weekend. It popped up a reminder for my flight, gave me gate numbers, flight status, etc. It also popped up reminders about a meeting I had and it tracked my hotel and car rental. Also, after my initial flight it came up and said "Welcome to Atlanta" and asked if I wanted to set my time to the current city. I didn't have to because I originated from the east coast but I thought that was a nice add on. It also, showed my the weather forecast for Atlanta without me asking. I love this!!

Anyone else have their corporate travel on Expedia? Am I just out of luck, or is there some way to get this working with Expedia?

Using the pre-approved travel agents only makes adding items to WorldMate Live easier, you don't HAVE to have that. My internal travel agency doesn't work either but I manually entered the information (not very time consuming) and it works great. Also, the website says it reads Delta, Marriott, etc, so the next time I'm going to log into my account on their site and have them send me an itinerary to see if it imports automatically.

I have been using WorldMate for a week now and loving it. Even if you don't travel much it is a great app. Highly recommended.
I have the Curve, BTW.

Another very happy user! As already stated the interface is extremely well done and the BB client has been rock stable even through the Beta. I'm heading to Europe next week on business and just exported my corporate Amex itinerary via the Outlook plugin. The result was a seamless and accurate itinerary on my BB.
