There's been no change for text messages. Please reset your firewall and reboot.

.....I did, but no change. I'll tried 5.12 again and everything was working fine. Also at the earlier 5.13 version (OS 4.1) text message wasn't working on my BB....

So I am still interested in experiences from other OS 4.1 users:

.....do you also have problems with the sms messages...?

crs,

Nice update. One comment/suggestion. I mapped the "U" key to up a section and the "d" key to down a section. When I hit these keys I would like the header for this section to go to the top of the screen. Now it just brings that to the bottom of the screen.

Since the latest Beta, my Stocks and Weather do not refresh anymore automatically. Refreshing manually works perfectly though. Anyone with the same observation?

sexyberry, check the start/end times in weather settings. Make sure that the stop time is earlier than 12am.

Default Option to turn "Create PD ..." On / Off?

Love PocketDay and PD Lists. Most frequently used app on my BB.

Is there a way to toggle On / Off the "Create PD ..." options in the Mail menu?

Running v5.18.7 on 8830 verizon v4.2.2.176 and have some issues/suggestions:

Can you build pd to run as a theme always instead of as an app after 1 minute?

Unread Email (using empower v3.0.62.7):
- pressing del< key when viewing an email opened from pd does not delete the email. nothing happens. however when I go to the native bb messages app and open an email in empower and press del key, it does delete the email.

- would be nice to have the date instead of the time of an unread email in the liste when the email is from prior to today.

- would like a reply & delete, reply all & delete, forward & delete option in the full menus or maybe and option after replying, reply all, or forward that pops up (as an option) asking to delete original email or return.. That way I don't have to reply from PD, then go back into bb messages and delete the email I already was viewing and replying to.

Missed calls:
- put date instead of time in the missed calls list for calls from prior to today.
- could you make pressing del key mark as opened for missed calls instead of deleting them? that way they are not deleted from the bb call log as well when pressing del key.

My News - When pressing center button track ball with the focus on the My News Header, pd exits to the first rss stream on the web instead of opening the full menus like the other headers when you press track ball.

Weather - Today's weather only shows the current temp and icon. The other days (either in the summary screen or in the 7 day view) show the expected hi/low and forecast. Can you add the same info to today's weather both in the summary pd view and the 7 day view?

Remove date from line below the heading as it is redundant with the heading. Add day of week to the heading.

Thanks

I'm curious, what do you mean by this one?

Basically, I would like for PD to be the last screen and default screen when you press the end key repeat instead of the bb today screen. Kind of like the home page for my bb.

Right now, when I press end from phone, messages, etc in bb it goes to the bb today screen instead of pd. then I have to go to applications and launch pd to get back to my pd screen or set a shortcut key to get to pd.

Did you enable "Show PD after x Minutes" within the PocketDay Utility Settings... as this might be close to what you are looking for? Personally, I just set the Front Convenience Key to open PocketDay, and then set other application hot-keys within PocketDay.

What he said. You can set PD to start up automatically when your BB starts, and set it to maximize to the foreground after 1 (or more) minutes. These are under Utility Settings.

Perhaps increments under one minute might be nice for those that feel one minute is too long, say 15 sec, 30 sec, 45 secs. I don't see that being something unreasonable if we ask nicely. ;)

I second this, love the new jump feature but it doesn't help if it jumps to the header of a section that is at the bottom of the page, I still need to scroll down then, great updates as always crs!

Hey crs, DaBlackberryBoy here. Hey, about to download the newest version of PD Pro, wanted to know if you have had any feedback from working with RexWireless. You know a lot of us are interested, just wanted to get your feedback. My thread on your board was
RexWireless Collaboration - Cross River Systems LLC Forums

Thanks so much

Well crs, you can forget about the above post for now cause I emailed the Rexguys and they pretty much said "not this year". I know that they are busy with big projects but should consider these opportunities. They are not very willing at this point to collaborate, and I understand, but if they are not willing to offer smaller fixes like calendaring that they could take advantage of with PD or other products for other things for that matter, they will cause themselves more harm for a constant following, IMHO.

There is absolutely no reason that RexWireless should collaborate with CrossRiver. PD simply places a skin over the native BB database; Rex uses its own database, and does so in an incredibly useful and professional way. CrossRiver would certainly benefit from a joint project, but RexWireless holds all the cards in the game. They don't have any reason to collaborate and would see no benefit from such a project.

[QUOTE=crs;803290]All,

We've just updated the Beta to 5.18.7. Fixes/changes include:

Added Hourly forecast and Satellite/Radar to Weather
Added Key Mappings for moving up/down section by section on the screen
Added Weather / Stock settings directly on the menu when the appropriate section is highlighted
Check for Updates activated
Added support for Free/Busy on Calendar events (and colors on time bars)
Added new separate color for the time on the calendar
Corrected Recurring All Day Event displaying properly in the calendar
Corrected issues with EMpower crashing on Alt-Del (delete message)

CRS,

I have been running 5.18 for a while with little issue. Just updated to 5.18.7 and the one thing I miss, though maybe rather simplistic...is the rectangles surrounding appointments. I really liked the segregation between appointments but can't seem to find it in this update. Did I miss something or did you take it out?

Actually, there would be once the Outlook Integration is over. Since we are unsure how Rex will integrate with Outlook, if PD is over the native databases and Rex will be syncing with the natives, maybe some functionaity could be provided either by the current PD interface or by adding a few "bells and whistles" to work with the Outlook Integrated version of the TodoMatrix software.

I just upgraded to 5.18.7. Multi-day all day appointments still only show up on the first day. Yes, I tried to delete the appointment and recreating it. No go.
