The upgrade went really well. It was fast and so far I have had no problems. The roaming indicator triangle has disappeared, and I haven't had any DCR errors thus far. I also have had no problems tethering with VZAccess as I know others using other vendors' 4.1 software were having.

We'll see what happens in the next few days.

...and yet, no update for the 7130e. Man, they're really putting this off for a while.

There was an update in March for the 7130e on VZW. We just don't know when the next update will be released.

Default left my cable at home!

So, does this give EVDO automatically? or do we have to beg them to add evdsb?
Thanks

Wish they would have followed the same naming convention as everyone else.
blackberry_7250_upgrade.exe is not very descriptive.

Could you give a little detail about the tethering. Is there an extra cost for this beyond the unlimited BB data plan? Thanks

Yes, there is an extra cost associated. I think it is $15/month.

Verizon Wireless: Apps: 4.1.0.268 | Platform: 2.2.0.112
Bell Mobility: Apps: 4.1.0.303 | Platform: 2.2.0.114

Just in case anyone has issues with Verizon, Bell does have the newer version. Just to note, with the issues everyone seems to be having with EVDO on any CDMA network, I would say that you may want to stick with Verizon's software just because the radio code will be tuned for their network.

tethering (BroadbandAccess Connect)

$15 / month if you have voice + unlimited data
$30 / month if you have unlimited data only

"Host not found". Looks like DNS issues on their end. Let's hope they fix it and don't roll back the update or something. We've been waiting forever for this official update (and I want my tethering back )

Could anyone who already downloaded the two files post them on a mirror please?
