Hello.
I have loaded Desktop 4.0, and have a 6750 with 3.6 (bell mobility)
After the intial 30 day ecryption key timeout, i can no longer send from the BB. I cradeled, and resynced everything. even re-generated a new key, but to no avail.

Alos, can anyone tell me if this unit, with this rev of firmware, will run on a BES 4.0? I have been searching for firmware upgrade for this unit, but can not locate that either.

what is your mail client? outlook 2003? turn off cached exchange mode.

Call bell, tell them you need DBClean.exe, chances are the old key is still stored somewhere in local databases (on computer) and cannot be removed without dbclean.exe

if your support professional does not know how to help you, ask to be set to the next level of support, until you reach the folks at rim. They will help you.

I am using Outlook 2003, and I do not run it in cached mode.

Per an email received by one of my counterparts (rogers.com provider. yes, we have a few providers) we were instructed to remove 4.0, and reload 3.6 sp3.

I have done that, and it has reestablished communications. Just hesitant now to try 4.0 again...

I had the same problem with desktop 4.0, and went back to desktop 3.6 to resolve it.

No functionality loss that I'm aware of, so I'm sticking with 3.6 until further notice ;)
