Default Question for the pro's ..

okay, so im new to the site, have been reading up on the posts..

I have a 8703e registered with BELL, in Canada..

I have v4.1.0.352 Platform 2.2.0.165 on the phone and was wondering EXACTLY how I would go abouts upgrading the OS, im a noob and dont wanna loose all my numbers and info on the phone..

whats the best way to upgrade the OS and is it worth it? or should I just leave it be?

yeah seems like there is no difference in upgrading, other than the broken battery meter and constant red light.. so i shall stay away, thanks

No difference? How'd you arrive at that conclusion?
OS 4.5 is on a totally different level than 4.1.
Definitely do it.

Nothing too significant but it allows the use of Today and Zen themes etc.
