Default Is there a workaround for BB Maps on ATT 8900?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got my first BB. Curve 8900 from AT&T. Of course now I find they locked out BB Maps becasue they have there own app for $10/month. I see earlier BB have a work around for this. Is there one for the 8900? Can I load and run BB Maps with ATT Curve 8900?
Thanks,
Chris

Yes, I like to know about this too. I called AT&T and for some reason they don't know so they passed me to RIM to answer the question. In any case, RIM tech support finally concluded that AT&T blocks their software (which he still don't know how they did it). So, if anyone know of a way or workaround to get BB Map, that will be great!

i was able to use BB Maps by simply downloading it through the cellphone's browser.
Go to the blackberry website through the cellphone making sure that the browser is recognized as a blackberry not as Internet Explorer or Firefox and search for software downloads of Blackberry maps download. download it and install it and it should work... Worked for me... After trying everything other forums said i tried that and it worked perfectly... remember to allow every permission so that you are able to use the GPS.
