I finally wised up and password-protected my BB. I hate that Autolock cannot be disabled, so it's set for an hour, which is the longest time.

However, the last two mornings, my BB alarm (native) has not rang, and I'm assuming that it's due to the lock.

Is the alarm disabled while the BB is locked? If so, is there any way around this without purchasing a 3rd party app?

Didn't think that a lock would affect the alarm. Not quite sure since I haven't tried myself. But have you tried a battery pull and see if its still the same?

Do a battery pull also might be worth using another OS on the Storm, not sure how different OS's you have to choose from however.

I've relied on my Alarm for a while an locking the handheld does not effect it. Must be a bug within the OS.
OR a third party interfering with it.
