Default How many people have taken their storm back?

Please Login to Remove!

I got up at 4am and stood in line for the storm the first day. Was VERY excited. It sucked! So many glitches, cant type an email worth you know what, camera popped up whi;e typing an email (no I changed the right convenience key) and the list goes on and on. How many people have given up and taken it back? I got my ciurve back and will NEVER go back to the storm, even if it is free.

wow, you should have waited for the updates to the OS... everyone admits that the OS was not ready for prime time... if you had waited then maybe it would work out...

like for me i just got the 8900 curve, and well the OS i great, but there are issues that still need to be resolved, but no way in hell am i returning it... i can hold out for a new OS to come out for it in a week or so...

I also returned my Storm. Kept getting the random shutdowns. Then picked up a brand new Storm and the camera was crap. So I returned and got a Curve.

Its content such as this that have discouraged me from taking the plunge away from my 8830

I'm reluctantly moving to the Storm. The IT guy in the home office says he will set my 8830 aside for a month until I decide if want to keep the Storm. I'm glad he made the offer. If Verizon had a Bold, that's the way I'd be moving.

What if the OS updates to fix everything comes way past the 30-day Return period...? a lot of frustrated Storm owners may very well be stuck unhappily with it . . .

when OS is ready for Prime Time, then everyone else can take a second stab at it . . . in the meantime, it's back to the drawing board . . .

That is my concern. Especially since they want to lock us into contracts. VZW in the past would put certain devices out after they worked out their glitches with other carriers.

Just over a week with mine, haven't taken the battery out once. Email delivery is fast, and I'm getting more used to the keyboards. Only glitch I have had was VZ Nav not working, but when I deleted Google Maps, all was well. I love mine.
