Has anyone installed the new tinytwitter beta at TinyTwitter?

Everytime i close the program, when i reopen it tells me that my update list is empty and when i update it automactically makes me follow tinytwitter help.

Its really annoying and i dont know how to stop it.

Nope. I also use TwitterBerry, and it works very well.

Twitterberry definitely seems to be the best app out there at this time. I tried using SocialScope for a little while, but it just seems a bit bloated. There's Facebook stuff on their, and all that stuff, and I really just wanted a Twitter app. My only complaint about TB is posting to twitpic with full resolution settings.

Oh yeah. Sometimes even when sending small sized photos to twitpic over twitterberry, it just hangs and never does anything, and I have noticed that when pics do go through, it sends the caption to twitter but not to twitpic. For that reason, I just send all my pics to twitpic via email.

I tried Tiny Twitter for a few hours and very much disliked it compared to TwitterBerry. I highly recommend you consider using TwitterBerry instead.

i used to use Twitterbetter. So much better than tinytwitter. But now I use and absolutely SocialScope, primarily because of the combination of Facebook and Twitter. If you feel the Facebook stuff is too much, limit it to just status updates, and also you can click on the TWITTER tab and then all you get is twitter stuff, the integrating of TWITPIC into Socialscope is cool too

OMG. I just installed twitterberry to see what it was like. It is awful. I have since fixed my tinytwitter problems and will never ever use twitterberry. Tinytwitter is ten fold better.

I've downloaded tinytwitter but it won't recognise my creds. Obvious point: the password is * so how do I know if it is entering the right letters as I'm on pearl so it might be entering a combo of the letters on the twin keys.

ALso don't know if password is case sensitive and I have no idea how to put caps in!

Any clues?

Thanks

the letter will appear for a second before it gooes to the *. You have to double push the key for the second letters. Good luck.

Just because this thread has recently been updated, I have to say I am a total Twitter addict. Here's a video of Evan Williams speaking at TED about the evolution of Twitter. Having been a Twitter user since before the days of @replies, it's been so cool to see it become more and more popular and used for more and more things. :D

Thanks still won't accept my creds and I've wasted too much time trying - how do I delete it?

Thanks
