Default How Do I Get Rid of a Ghost on my SD Card?

Please Login to Remove!

I have phantom artist, album and song titles on my BB even after I reformat the SD card.

My other theory is that they are somehow listed in the BB device memory, but I cannot find where they may be?

Basically, when I go to the Media Player, and look under audio, I see artist, album and song titles, yet there are no playable files present.

Suggestions on removing the phantom tags/labels?

Try clearing your device memory and pull the battery and re-start the phone.

see if that does the trick?

How does one clear device memory? I've already done the battery pull.

I would look at the SD card from your PC, with Mass Storage enabled on the card.

Yes, it could be stored on the device memory, perhaps.

I indicated that I did that in my first post, PLUS I reformatted the card from the PC.
