Yeah, that's about the only difference...the built in GPS. 8300 is a great phone though, a pearl with a qwerty. get the 8310, you might need the gps one day. ha, and its fun to play with. IMO.
The 8310 has a 10 in the model number and the 8300 doesn't.
Even though the 8310 has GPS you can get Google Maps which has a GPS feature to it. Its not perfect, but if you have the 8300 like me, it works just as well.

the Google Maps program allows connection to the built in GPS of the 8310, but a non GPS device it uses tower triangulation not GPS
