Today I just added contact number 832 to my Blackberry Curve 8320's phone book! I just so happened to notice that my number of contacts is almost the same as my phone's model number...lol. Not to mention I never really thought about it until now, but these phones hold a sh*t load of contacts!
I have contacts saved on both my sim card and on my phone itself.
**Just for fun post the # of contacts you have on your phone and lets keep the thread going!
P.S. What is the total ammount of contacts that the phone can hold?
The company I work for has about 1300 employees currently...add that to whatever personal contacts you want in your BB address book and you can have quite a few! I've heard that some of the higher ups in the company have upwards of 5000 contacts! Bet that takes a while to sync on desktop manager! lol
Myself...I have 1359 contacts.

I helped a former Director of mine with his Berry-he had approx. 750 contacts . Made activating a new handset a little time consuming, but other than that, it was fine.

There isn't a limit on the number of contacts one can store. It depends on how much free memory the device still has. So you can continue to add and add.
I have personally 2500 contacts, but I am using usually just about 12 The others get a call from me maybe once a year. There is no need... Just imagine how much should I have payed for this pleasure, if I would call all of them... lol
Back when our BES was still 3.6, I had a VP that had 7,000+ contacts. Except they weren't all 'contacts'. He liked to keep notes-type stuff. I tried to get him to put his notes in the memo pad and he refused. Then he'd complain that it took 45 minutes or longer for his device to sync with Desktop Manager.
I have 301 contacts on my work BB and 151 on my personal BB.
