The only problem is those people are (mostly) sooo unreliable. I remember when a T-Mo rep told me they would get the 8800 before anyone else because they had printed materials about the phone in the works, they also said that the Cingular version would not have GPS.......I suppose pigs fly and hell has frozen over as well.....

There would be a certain logic to T-Mobile getting the 8300 as Cingular got the 8800. Perhaps TMo will skip the 8800 all together and just rock the 83xx, whatever flavor they decide. Of course other arguments could be made for TMo not getting it first, but hey, as a TMo subscriber I'm not beyond grasping at any straws I can find.

I find it odd that NObody thought of the following.

What of Auto-Focus? Software or a slight mini-adjusting hardware lens a la SE K750/w810. Camera of the Pearl is very surprising, but I'd love the 8300 despite its Palm m5xx series looking design ONLY if it had Auto Focus. I think it would be ridiculous if no auto focus was part of the package.

Sorry, but indirect dealer info is worth about as much as a T-Mobile rep's info which is the equivilant to my 16 year old sister getting the inside scoop.

Psst. Psst. President GW Bush called last night after 3 am! He told me that Dick Cheney heard from Condoleeza that Monica Lewinsky told Bill that the 8300 was going to be exclusively on DoCoMo!
