Default Models 9550 and 9520

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
I would like to purchase the Storm 2 device and I saw both 9550 and 9520 models,
I live in Israel and the sales person told me that both models are completely identical,
However , the 9550 price is higher,

It that correct that both 9520 and 9550 are identical?

Thanks,

No
9520 = GSM only
9550 = CDMA, then GSM.

If your network is GSM get the 9520.

So basically this is the one and only difference?
And if I get the GSM device I will be able to use it outside of Israel?

Thanks,

Does this mean that one could use the 9550 on AT&T here in the States?

Yes you can. You must get the phone unlocked first.
I pay for a GoPhone account to have the option if CDMA coverage is poor (some parts of Western Nebraska actually have better GSM coverage thanks to a regional carrier).
