Default Error 507 on start up

Please Login to Remove!

So my Pearl was being wonky this morning (like most mornings, sigh), and I pulled the battery. It booted up to App Error 200. I reseted, repulled, repeated about 10 times and it still went to this error. I wiped it with JL_CMDR, but now it boots to error 507. Desktop Manager won't recognize it, and subsequent wipes take me back to error 507. Strangely, it's visible in BlackBerry Device Manager, even though I can't see it in Desktop Manager. How do I reinstall the OS? I'd take a blank 4.2 at this point, though I do have a recent backup from Desktop Manager that I'd like to use.

Thanks!

Download and install the handheld operating system for the 8100 from either T-Mobile, Vodafone or O2. Personally I would use O2 as it is the newest. First download it, then execute the downloaded program.

Locate and delete VENDOR.XML on your PC C: drive

Restart Desktop Manager with the BB connected.

The reload should start.

Did you try and start Application Loader?

After you do a wipe, you have to manually load App Loader. It will then sync up with your BB and ask if you want to install the new OS.
