I have an issue with one user that when they 'roam' they cannot send e mail - it seems to time out (clock icon displayed). Receiving e mail is fine, as is making calls and SMS thus ruling out SIM card bar. The user has noticed that when trying to select a network manually the Network Status indicates that the BES Connection is 'not connected'.
Full GPRS is displayed on the device and service books have been re sent to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so how was it resolved?
There is only one user experiencing this issue out of our Blackberry estate of approx 400
I would be asking Vodafone to check the account is set the same as the others and get a new SIM card. Voda can be funny about not supporting all features on a SIM card which isn't shiny and often a new card does the trick. Sounds silly but I have had things like some WAP browsing not work for one user, and new SIM from VF fixes it.
