I'm currently working on a mail migration from Exchange 2003 to 2010.
During a check of mailbox item counts I discovered that the BlackBerryRefIDSearchFolder1_7 and BlackBerrymsgOnDeviceSearchFolder folders within the Exchange folder BlackberryHandHeldInfo contain a large number of items for some users. Some in excess of 30,000 items.
Without removing BES accounts, I'd like to reduce the number of items in these folders before migrating to Exchange 2010, if it is even possible. I'm hesitant to just delete the contents as most users are VIPs and I'm not sure what the effects will be. Is there anything that can be done?
I have already reviewed KB article KB20770, but the search flags are set correctly.
