Default The server is not responding....

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I'm trying to add new device to my BES server. I've created user, set activation password and start Enterprise activation. On the device screen I got first:
"Activating emailaddress...
Verifying encryption...
Encryption verified...
Waiting for services..."

Then it keeps like this for next 15 minutes and after that I get information:

"The server is not responding. Please contact your System Administrator."

We are using:
Blackberry device Perl 8300 (4.2.2.90)
Blackberry Professional Software 4.1.4.2
Blackberry Manager 4.1.4.15
Server running on Wmvare server on Windows 2003 R2
Other Blackberry users are working normally

I already tried to Wipe the device and to reset the server! But without success!

Attached is the part of the MAGT log for the point ware I started the activation until device did inform me about problem...I tried to move other user information to keep it shorter...

Welcome to BBF!

Try restarting the BlackBerry Policy Service, that's the usual fix for that issue.

Hi,

Thanks a loot for your help.
Even if I restarted complete BES server before things started to work after another BlackBerry Policy Service restart. It seams that every time I restart BES server I need once more to restart this service in order that activation process work normally...
