Default Blackberry email/internet problem

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, Hope this is in the right place!
Basically, I had a problem when I had my blackberry replaced where none of the data services were working. This went up the chain right from Orange up to RIM themselves, then a few days ago, they told me to take my battery out, etc, again, and it was magically fixed.

However, There are still issues, and before I get back onto orange which as you can imagine is a very hit and miss process, I thought i'd ask here...

Basically, the phone only seems to work half of the time. I can run diagnostics and ignoring everything else;

ICMP Ping Echo: Changes from Yes or No just about every time I run the test.
Registration, Connected to BB and BB Pin-Pin, again, should be yes, but sometimes is still No.

And the main one, Connected to my email: No. Every time.

So this means I'm not getting emails to my phone, BUT, every now and then, loads will randomly get delivered to my phone, then it stops again.

Also worth noting, I hope, is every time I actually RUN the diagnostics, two things happen- I get a BB registration message saying it is registered with the wireless network or something (even if it says no for it all in the test). And also, I get an email in my inbox (which is sometimes delivered to my phone....) whose title is "<$RemoveOnDelivery,SuppressSaveInSent(Insert lots of numbers here>"

Can anyone help / suggest a cure for my phone before I devote another day of waiting on the phone while someone in orange has a cup of tea!

Regards,

Ralf

1. Did you do a device swap on your carrier's BIS page or over the phone with customer service? If not, do this and continue to step 2.

2. For the email it sent (suppress delivery) when you installed the desktop manager, did you choose the redirector? If yes go to 3

3. in the phone, go to options>advanced options>service books and delete the one labeled "desktop" (highlight it and push the blackberry button and choose delete.

4. Reinstall desktop manager and do NOT choose redirector this time.
