Happy Holidays All!

For some reason every few days or so my wife has had an issue with getting rid of the yellow bb messenger icon that appears at the top of the homescreen. We've deleted all message threads, sms messages, emails and it's still there, even a battery pull. BBM is also up to date. What gives? This is really annoying...never happens on my 8830.

Have you checked the recent updates section of BBM? That happen to me the first day took me a minute to figure out what message I had.

Are you using a default theme? Make sure again you deleted all of your logs inclucing saved messages (or at least open them). Could it be a voice message? Maybe you want to leave a new voice message and delete it and see if it wipes both

Thanks for the responses. I think it was an old voicemail that was saved. BBM version was the most up to date.

actually, it's back what a pain. Messenger is the most up to date, no voice mails, not sms/mms, or emails.

Fix your BBF profile. It reads 8830. What theme are you using? Is a default theme?

Reset (battery pull) ran into similar issue when changing themes.
