Default Pin - where do i find it?

Hi everyone!

Im new to bb 8100, i wanted some new blackberry messenger buddies and wanted to post my pin but i don't know where to find it on my phone. Please help

I'm not sure if this works on the Pearl however on previous models you would hold down the Alt key and the CAP key, then press H. If that does not work you can find that information on the FCC label on the inside of the device's battery compartment.

thanks snow, the first option didn't work but i did locate it on the back behind the battery. thanks!

In a previous post of tips/shortcuts someone reported an "easter egg" of sorts
hold ALT and type the letters R A C E.

you get a pretty good status update.

another way:

while typing an email, you can put 'mypin' (minus the ' ') and it will show you your pin

That's an excellent trick; mypin, myver and mynumber all are great shortcuts.

Dont for get about 'sig' as a shortcut. It will populate with your owner information. You have to set your owner information under "Options > Owner" in order for it to populate.
