Please Login to Remove!

get javaloader and run the following

javaloader -u -w<password here> erase -f <theme files here>

replacing "<password here>" with your password
and "<theme files here>" with the unwanted theme names seporated by a space, ie "net_rim_theme_102_240x260.cod net_rim_theme_105_240x260.cod"

Its best if you put all the files you want to remove one after another in this form instead of running the javaloader erase command for each file as it will restart your bb after each run.

Can anyone answer bb4lfe's question? I'm using VZW's 4.1.0.268 and since I have a case with RIM for email delivery problems, I don't want load a different carrier's OS (for now). So can we just load the .alx file and get the Today theme?

Looking at zarza's instructions, it looks like you need at least version 4.1.0.364:
"1. Download and install Telstra Australia's package 4.1.0.364
2. Download and install Cingular's package 4.1.0.401"
This would parallel my experience playing with my 8700. The Today themes would not work with apps package .284.
So you can try it with VZW's 4.1.0.268 but I am quite certain that the results will be as bizarre as what I experienced here.

I guess that makes sense. I'll have to wait till RIM resolves my email problems before updating the OS. Thanks.

Two ways:
1. Go into Options, Advanced Options, Applications, Modules and scroll down to net_rim_theme_... and delete the theme that you don't want. (I have never actually tried this but it should work.) Of course you have to know the name of the theme to delete. You'll find that by looking in the Blackberry.alx file. Which leads to the second solution...
2. Delete the loader instructions for the theme from the blackberry.alx file and then reinstall the OS.
Do you really have so little memory? I guess I'm spoiled on the 8700...

I want to test this also, so if anyone has either a T-Mobile 7100t or 7105t, can you please test this and let me know the results? Thanks.

Erica, should work fine. Here's the instructions (my format). Just load it from the OTA links. I've provided for the Dimension and Vodafone Today themes, as well as the new Zen theme (nothing new about it, although it *may* [doubtful] fix memory leak issues) and the standard Vodafone theme.

You can use them with a VZW 7130e, but you will HAVE TO upgrade to the Telstra OS.

cybermikey did it on his 7100g, so it should work for you too.

Both Today and Vodafone. I went to download Today theme and my BB told me I already had it installed. Went to install Vodafone and got the 907 Invalid COD error

Try the standard Vodafone again - had a typo with one of the file sizes. When trying to download the others, does it give you the option to install over?

Yes I got that when I tried to install the Today theme. I was installing both OTA.
