The OEM leather case is a great investment - I'd also recommend a screen protector (Exim makes a good on for the 72xx series).

I'll second the recommendation for the OEM leather holster. The standard-issue plastic holster tends to scratch the finish on the BlackBerry.

And don't forget, the 7290 should face inward when placed in either the plastic or leather holster. That way the magnet will be properly positioned to turn off the LCD screen.

I was searching for an extended battery and I bought the battery wall charger too. I am really excited about that! Thank you for making your descriptions clear and with good pics!
