Yep. T-mo gets the 8900 in February, though the exact date seems to be in question. Thankfully my NE2 on Verizon comes in July, which is after the Bold should supposedly release (I've heard May from several sources). I played with a Storm and wasn't impressed overall. I'm sticking with my Pearl at least until we see the Bold and possibly even the Curve replacement.

Per a friend who is a manager at Verizon, they will have it sometime in May. I also found the same info on new-cell-phones.org.

The Verizon launch date for the Bold is May 9th 2009 (tentative). They did not want to have a device that competed with the Storm and Curve so soon after their release.

I love the Bold for at&t! The OS is stable, which is something I can't say of any of the Storm OS's. I look forward to the Bold on Verizon.

I was told by a Verizon store employee today that the Niagara would be ou tin early February on Verizon. Any chance that's true? I got an Omnia last week - my employer preferes WinMo phones - and it is unusable as a business device. My 30 day clock is ticking...

If there isn't any early buzz here at bbf, I doubt that it will be out by Feb.

was in a Verizon store today - rep said they are coming out with a new Curve in a month or two. this is instead of the Bold. But I called two other stores and they don't know anything about this.

That's the problem with reps, you can't believe anything they say. It's based on rumors and speculation.

I work Verizon in DC and the word is that it's coming out in March. Granted they were 2weeks off with their Storm info for a bit, they were still more correct than anyone else at the time.

Can't wait. The Verizon Bold is my next device. I'm skipping the Storm.
