Hello. Just want to say this is a great forum. I am a brand new Blackberry user and I know this simple installation should be a breeze but I can't get the software to complete set up. When the roxio media installer tries to complete, I get an error #1305 on my computer saying that a file needs to be verified that it exists. I have tried this on 2 different computers and the same error comes up at the same time in the installation process. I have tried all I know to do. I would like to see how media does on my new blackberry so if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

You could try 4.2 SP2 instead...4.3 appears to be buggier.

OK. Go to att.com/bbdownloads
in the drop down box that says "Please Select A Product"
Choose Blackberry Desktop Software V4.2

the SP1 and SP2 versions are designed for windows VISTA
if you are using windows XP download just the V4.2 withougt the Service Packs (SP)

Basically V4.2-Windows XP
SP1- 32 bit windows vista
SP2- 32 bit and 64 bit windows vista

George, this is not entirely accurate.
4.2 SP1 and SP2 don't require Vista. They work just fine with previous versions of Windows.
Additionally, SP2 added Roxio Media Manager support, which is why the download is well over 200MB compared to previous versions which were much smaller.

Thanks so much for everyone's help. The download was installed properly but for some reason I can't get music files to transfer. Sorry to sound like a dummy, but nothing seems to be working like it should. Any help with this would be awesome.
