Default Micro HDSD supported?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I am just wondering if the micro HDSD cards are supported in the blackberry 8130 Pearl... From what I can tell on the spec page and manual, it says nothing about the HD being supported... I just dont want to purchase a card to find out that it doesnt work...

Thanks,

The current OS only support up to 4GB.

What type and size Media Card can I use in my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

Once OS 4.3 is released the BB will support 8GB.

The 8130 already has OS 4.3 so it will support up to 8Gb cards.

yes the software I has will support an 8 GB card now I am sure but there are 2 different standards SD and SDHC and I am unsure if it will support the micro SDHC cards... I purchased one of these for my camera and it wouldnt support it and I have not seen any reference to the SDHC in my manual or any of the literature I have read which would make me assume that it wont...

Yes. SDHC cards will work. I have an 4GB SDHC card in my 8320. HC just stands for High Capacity (which is anything over 2Gb.)
