Default Anyway To Correct This

Please Login to Remove!

I can't say how long this has been going on, but I am beginning to notice it more and more. I cannot see some of the letters in some incoming messages, as they are light colored against a light background.
Is this something the phone is doing itself, or is this the originating site? Either way, can I correct it on my end without highlighting the entire message (as I have to do) to read it?

Wow, at first I couldn't see what you were talking about. Now that I look closer, I faintly see the words. If the messages are coming from different sources, I would blame the device. If you do a battery pull does it fix it temporarily? Other than that, I'm stumped.

Yea, did the battery pull a couple times (finally got use to doing that first), but nothing.
It's not all messages, but some that look the same, and from different sources.

Try turning OFF html mail... there's obviously an issue between the text and background colors... turning off html mail will cause it to revert to "plain text" - black letters on a white background... maybe not the best solution, but it will eliminate the problem.

Are they SPAM messages or from real people that you know and communicate with regularly?

They are not spam. They are forwarded messages from my Gmail account that are daily updates from groups and sites.
As for turning off the html, I will consider doing that if nothing else works. I would hate to do that as I was happy when that option became available, and have enjoyed it ever since. Thank you.

If you login to your gmail account on a PC, do the emails look the same?

Wirelessly posted (I'm mobile)

If its that way on the pc then you've ruled out the device being the problem.

Yea, I guess I have to pay more attention to details because as I said, I have no idea how long it's been like this. Hopefully I can make some kind of adjustment. If not, like was suggested, I'll just turn off the html.
