I sync my BB with outlook using the desktop manager for my contacts, tasks, and notes. Email and calendar are sync'd wirelessly on corp BES.

The number of contacts on my blackberry is 2157 and the number of contacts in my outlook folder is 2159. I have no idea why they are not exactly matched and I have no way of knowing which 2 contacts are missing in my BB.

The sync process is indeed working - when I edit a contact or add or delete a contact the changes are made on both sides but the number of records still remains off by 2 contacts. Is there any way to export the BB list so I can figure out which contacts are missing? Anyone else have this issue?

Unless you're just ultra-curious as to why it's missing those two people, you can easily remove all of the contacts from your Blackberry using the Backup and Restore tool, Advanced option, in Desktop Manager, then add them back by synching.

Do you have any disto list? They don't sync to the BB.

Yes - in fact 2 distribution lists! That solves it!! Thanks very much...

Having this issue as well. However, I have a user, an important one at that, missing several contacts from his Blackberry that show up in his outlook. I can't blame the distribution list for the discrepancy.

I am having the same problem with my calendar. The number of entries don't match. Suggestions?
