Hidden Screens
Please Login to Remove!
I was cruising around another forum and came across this info.
I appologize if you veterans already know about this:
Alt-lglg - Device:Event logging screen -
Ctrl-lglg - Emulator:Event logging screen -
Alt-Cap-H - Device:Help Me! screen -
Ctrl 0 H - Emulator:Engineering Screen Contents -
Alt-Cap-U - Device:Dump screen-Time Keystrokes -
Alt-Cap-V - Device:Debug screen - But does nothing -
Alt-Cap-Del - Device:Reboot device
Alt-CAP-Click jogdial pulls up a menu that allows you to move the main screen icons, you can also hide them. If you hide them and then replace them they will be crossed out with an X (although they will still work). To get rid of the X on restored icons hit Alt-click the jogdial and select Show All and your back to normal. Its just nice to be able to move a few of the icons around as we all like quick access to different stuff. Note, this only works when using the default theme, not say a Vodafone theme (where every button is a Vodafone live link!!!!)
Alt + ESC to move around the other application without closing existing application.

Not to rain on your parade but ALT-CAP-DEL does not reboot my 7100... only a battery pull does.
ALT-CAP-CLICK/JOGDIAL can be shortened to ALT-CLICK/JOGDIAL and moving the icons on the Vodafone home is possible.
Some of these do work of course like the logging etc...

OK, but when you press alt+cap+Del the record player icon changes.
Anyone know why and what this does?

The "record player" icon is for the profiles. Pressing ALT/CAP/DEL changes the profile from whatever you have selected to Vibrate mode.
But I wish it was a reboot :(

its not alt/cap/del that switches the profile... holding down cap for an extra second and releasing it switches the profile...
no matter what other keys you hit.
