Default No address book in DM, but entries remain on bb

Please Login to Remove!

So I had a huge 507 problem, and reinstalled my OS. I've used a few backup files to restore data back to my bb. But my address book duplicated all entries.

So I deleted my address book entries with advanced backup/restore, hoping to restore a fresh db with single entries. But now, my db shows zero entries, but my address book is full on my actual bb. I can't sync back or backup the db.

The only strange thing is that in address book options, I see the name of an old BES I used to use. I no longer use that BES nor do I have any service books from the BES.

Can anyone help me delete my bb address book from my bb, so that I can restore one from DM.

Thanks!

That's what I'm trying to do, but there are no entries listed in DM. I tried to clear them anyway and the entries are still on my bb.

Remove that BES entry from your Options > Advanced > Service Books.

Now at Options > Advanced > Default Services, set your correct calendar as the default.

The only reference to the BES shows in Address Book options (no BES service books, I wiped them over a year ago, along with the security policy, etc.). And it shows 0 entries anyway, which is correct, its just that my actually entries aren't registering anywhere.

I did add a new entry, and that single entry shows up in DM. But not the rest of my entries.
