PB64Gb using skype & different language input
Please Login to Remove!
I just got a BBPB 64GB and try to use skype,but I couldn't make it work,could anybody help me how to use skype?BTW,is PB only take one language input?

As far as I know (from doing a quick search via Google), Skype chooses not to support any Blackberry/Research in Motion products. During the search, it seems to be a high unlikelihood of it ever being supported.
There are a couple of options that I know of to use Skype on the Blackberry Playbook.
Option 1 - Browser-utilized
Apparently the site http://imo.im/ allows you to utilize skype on the playbook but there have been noted limitations within this option.
Option 2 - Android version
Sideload an Android Version ( Top Blackberry Playbook Apps | Good e-Reader Android App Market and Store - Playbook App Market and Store) and try it there. I did test this on my blackberry playbook and it does work, however I do not have a skype account and was unable to test any of the features.

Skype works only on certain Verizon and 3 (UK) BBs.

I have been trying to install skype to my PB 64GB,but could't make it and was told that I had better wait for the BB10 come out.

If you were attempting to do it via Option 2, listed above it requires that you place the device into development mode and sideload it. Failing that try using Option 1. Again, Skype is not supported on any BlackBerry device except where listed above by Dubdub.

You will not get any video calling capability from sideloading the app on a PlayBook.

I was able to get SiriusXM Radio to work by Sideloading it. I'm not sure if your looking for it or not, but if you need the .BAR file I can send it to you.
