Looking at the Nextel website, all the phones start with 'i'
Do you think the BlackBerry i7100 would fit better than 7100i?

but none of the blackberrys ever have, they most likely wont even call it a 7100i, they will likely drop the "i" all together.

Sorry, my english is very bad.

I'm talking about a 7100i in my country.

Now, only exists 7100v (7100g movistar spain) and 7230, 7290 in the last 2 years. I'm talkin about if the new BB's will come to spain (or other gadget with bb techonology under other maker like SIemens).

Because, will be new bb's from RIM, really?

I need a gadget like my 7100v but with PocketPC or Palm issues (i know, is a dream)

From Wikipedia these are countries that operate iDEN networks.

Quote:
* Argentina
* Canada
* Chile
* China (selected areas)
* El Salvadore
* Israel: Mirs
* Japan
* Jordan: Xpress
* Korea
* Mexico
* Peru
* Saudi Arabia
* Singapore
* United States: Nextel
Nextel does have GSM roaming agreements across Europe, but you need to buy a GSM phone from Nextel in order to make use of it.

I tried a friends 7100g with SureType, I will never get used to it. Its horrible. I gave him my 7520 to try, he said it was easier than his. I'll stick with my 7520.

Also what is the suretype? what kind of keyboard setup does it have, and how does it work?
Thank You

So the keyboards is not like the Blackberry you probably know, where eachs QWERTY letter has it's own key. On the 7100, you have the QWERTY format but they share keys, somewhat like a normal cellphone would. I've been typing on a 7520 since July and going to a new format like a 7100 proved to be too painful for me.

the guy in teh office next to me has a 7100 series for TMobile and loves teh SureType. Says it's scary how it knows what you want to say/spell.

You know I hear people saying that turning off the SureType works for them.. makes my brain hurt.. instead of concentrating on what you want to say.. you are trying to remember the alpha-numeric keys...

That is the whole reason they teach you typing in school so it's 2nd nature and you pay the most attention to what you want to say, not how to type it.
