Since the log in problems the other day I had not been receiving emailed subscription notices--not for my subscribed threads or the daily notices for subscribed forums. I was waiting for that to sort out and it hadn't. But I just changed my registered email address and soon received a notice for a subscribed thread, so maybe that's corrected.

But I don't see any thread color highlights either. My subcribed threads are not highlighted in green, nor are the Attention threads yellow, etc. All are the same. No big deal, but the colors were helpful for spotting what's what.

Not sure if you were indicating the highlight issue was supposed to be fixed along with the email issue.

FYI, I still don't see the highlighting on subscribed threads. Certainly not the end of the world either!

Just letting you know.

No, that was not supposed to be fixed with the email issue.

The highlighting of the threads seems to be incompatible with the newer version of vbulletin. I am testing on a non live version of the site to make it work. Will update you guys shortly. Thanks.

I just realized I did not get an email advising you replied here. I just happened to look. Doesn't look like it worked for me. I checked my options and instant notification is selected...

Thanks for staying on top of this kind of stuff for us.....

stevetaz, check your email address in your forum options/settings.....You'll probably find it blank.

For what it's worth, as I posted above, I changed my email address and started receiving updates right away. However, when I went back to change my email back to the original address I had been using, I realized the email fields were blank when I changed the address that first time. I don't think changing the address is what fixed the issue with subscriptions for me; it was that my email address had been cleared or something, and re-entering any email address is what corrected things.

Thanks Ira. Seems that as I get older I get stupider. I only saw the option to edit the email address and I wasn't planning to do that. Looking at that page and seeing the new email address lines blank didn't cause concern as I wasn't planning to change.

I entered the current email address and selected Update and the response indicated an email would be sent to me because I changed the email address. It was sent, I confirmed and all is right with the world again...

Going back to the Edit Email page I realize now that the current email address does appear on the New Email Address lines. Duh.....
