Default how to set the subject and location fields of a calendar appointment

Please Login to Remove!

Dear All,

I am starting with BlackBerry JDE and I have a question regarding the calendar appointments.

I use the following code line to open a new calendar entry:

Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_CALENDAR, new CalendarArguments(CalendarArguments.ARG_NEW));

It works fine. However, I need that this new calendar entry appear with already filled-in subject and location fields.

My question is : how can I programatically set the subject and location fields of a calendar appointment before opening it with the invokeApplication command?

Thanks in advance for your support,

Best Regards,

Mikal Donini, Arkadin France.

use another CalendarArguments constructor:

Quote:
public CalendarArguments(String arg, Calendar date)

Creates a new CalendarArguments instance with provided arguments. Used to open the Calendar to a specific date.

sorry the wrong one...

Quote:
public CalendarArguments(String arg, Event event)

Creates a new CalendarArguments instance with provided arguments. Used to open the Calendar to a specific event.

The solution for this last question is to use BlackBerryEvent instead of Event:

BlackBerryEvent.ATTENDEES
