what up guys ... how to i set up a montly reoccurance task ... i had it all set up with the reoccurance to happen on a montly basis but when i view the next month ... the task isn't there ... is it possible that after the certain date that you set up ... the task will show up on that day for the next month ...? help ...

basically, i want ot set up a task to remind me to change contacts/contacts casing on the first of every month ... can task to this or is this only possible through calendar?

also what kind of activity to you guys do with task vs calendar?

Your calendar should organize and insert the occurance for next month immediately after saving the entry.

Other than that, I really can't offer much assistance. I've never had this issue..

so my calendar would put up the next task for the next month after the task for the current month is over? remember, i'm setting this up in task mode and not calendar mode ...

plus like i said, i really dont know the big difference between using task vs calendar? which one's for which activity?

Calendar is generally for entering your obligations and appointments, meetings, etc.

Tasks are generally just things that you straight need to get done.

I would suggest entering this task into the Calendar instead of tasks.

It's quick, easy, and reliable. It will organize immediately after saving the entry.. and I've never had an issue with it not going off, unless I forgot to realize that I was entering it in with out an Alert.

Oh, and your Calendar will setup the entries for the next month automatically as well. It wont wait until the current months entry is complete/past.

sounds good ... i think it's probably easier to set it up in calendar vs task ...

thanks ... so could/should any reoccuring event/activity be done in task so that you can view them on a montly basis ...?

I guess that's all up to you, personal preference.

I don't use my Tasks program whatsoever.
